Saturday 07-09-2008, a significant day in Indian history. A two and half years of dedicated work has rendered the output. Everyone is happy about the deal. On the other hand Mr.Bush expresses his extolment towards our PM for his leadership qualities which has lead to the N-Deal.
Some people are not happy about the deal and remarked it as useless. They say what is the use of Nuclear deal which cannot be tested. Yes, US has laid some rules and regulation when the deal was final and one of its main backball is that India cannot try out any nuclear tests in any circumstances. So what thats the only way by which country can progress. Simulations can be carried on by which many industries in the country are going to get benefited in terms of global trade and also solve India’s energy problems which will have a large impact on countries economy, of course with increase in employment opportunities. What else is needed for a developing country like India.I would say atlast the RED LETTER day has arrived and India is going to be one of the powerful countries in the world.

Even i agree with you Mr.Chethan.
Cheers

What you said was correct Mr. Chethan. India is a vast country. India shares its boundaries with Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Nepal, Srilanka and so on. History is evident that none of the neighboring countries had/have good relation with our country. Either they are busy fighting within themselves (Srilanka, Nepal) OR fighting and trying to conquer landmass of INDIA(Pakistan, China). When such is the situation, and when such countries are open for using nuclear explosives at the warheads of their missiles and when their action is unpredictable, what do you think a country like INDIA should be doing for protecting its cores of citizens?
Nuclear energy is not only used for destructive purpose, but also for constructive purpose like power generation, fueling war/domestic ships, submarines and so on.
With such a great and increasing population and with limited natural resources hydro, wind, solar power generation facilities cannot serve such a big nation. Nuclear power then does not become a option but a need.
Did singh do a right choice by going for N-deal?
